Our Mission :: To take the best possible care of the people we serve and those who serve them.
About our Center
NECCO Center is a non-profit psychiatric residential
treatment program licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health, and approved
as a Kentucky Medicaid provider. We provide high-quality treatment and care to male individuals
ages 10-21 in a safe and loving environment. Services at NECCO Center
build upon the preferences and strengths of the program participants. NECCO
Center offers a continuum of care that puts the individual needs of children
first – working collaboratively to ensure that programming is targeted
and closely monitored. Above all, we strive to help youth gain the skills
needed to live more independently in less restrictive, community based settings.
NECCO Center is a valuable resource to the tri-state
area of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia as it is qualified to care for
youth from these states who might not otherwise have such an option. Qualified staff approaches difficult
and disruptive behavior with modification strategies geared toward prevention. In
addition, staff members are trained to identify signs of escalation and understand
how to intervene before a crisis occurs. NECCO Center provides constant
awake staff supervision as well as nursing care.
In addition to treatment services, NECCO Center clients have the opportunity
to enjoy outdoor activities including camping, fishing, and hiking, as well
as more traditional recreational and program activities.
